End of turbo dream
But, as they say, there's no substitute for cubes (well, a few more anyway )
Have to think up a way of using the turbo lump in a track car!

if you read his blog, he's put the turbo on hold and is throwing a n/a 3.9 lump (lower pic) in there...

Yeah, if you look at the second pic, it's under the exhausts, used as a starter motor

Bugger all that work for nothing hope your not giving up on it, was looking forward to some video!
You could always compromise and fit a bike engine with a turbo
Your in luck Antnicuk has just advertised some Magazines and a book on turboing bike engines

loco,
Turbo'ing was supposed to have been a 6 week project (a bit optimistic I know), but I kept coming up against problems.
I had it partially mapped at Emerald but had various others probs - like air leaks. 0psi oil pressure, no space to move o/s turbo up to give good
return oil drain.
It's now been off the road for 2.5 years and I want it back on the road, so donor engine/ecu and fuel pump will be going in on Saturday.
I'll have to hack around the exhausts and chuck a bit of paint on, then MOT/Tax and Summer
I haven't given up on the turboed RV 8, it'll just have to go in something with a bit more space.
Like Chris G's new single seater

supercharger not turbo
supercharging is the way to go, easier to fit, no lag and sounds great too!
