Pump!

Another R1 one related question from me again!

I am using a 4xv (carbed) R1 engine in my Indy. Am I best sticking with the original fuel pump? Any alternatives?

OE pump is the easiest if nothing else and should serve you well.

my 4xv build used the original pump and it ran fine.

If its any use to you here is what i did, cut the terminals off the pump and fitted a generic connector, then bought a spare pump (happened to be a gsxr thou one and did the same with that so that in the event of a pump failure whilts out and about the spare one is simply plug and play even though its a different manufacturers item.
