twin choke

Hi,
Justa quick one, looking to put a pinto with the twin choke carb into my mates mk1 escort as a temp measure till the new engine is ready, but need to ask about the fuel return.
Is it a must to have one with the twin choke carb? or are they ok without??

just want to see if we gotta swap the tank as well.
thanks

Do not need a return as long as the pumps not overly powerful, just blank it off.

Supply only required on all carbs as far as i know - its only some injection systems that have a return fuel line.

What they said ^^^ - as long as the fuel pump is standard Mk1 you will not need a return. If pump has been replaced with one supplying more pressure a return may be necessary.
Cheers, Pewe
