Gasket supplier? sorted
Does anyone know where I can get a pan gasket for a Ford A4LD auto box?
I holed the pan and just about to knock the dent out and weld up the hole. The old gasket is showing its age so I'm looking for a quick way to
getting a new one.
Many thanks for any suggestions (other than fitting a manual box )

He's whittling on a piece of wood. I got a feeling that when he stops whittling, something's gonna happen. (OUATITW/Cheyenne)

Do you have an auto box specialist in your area? they may be able to help

The dent is straightened and the hole welded up so there'll be some calls around Devon's (few) gearbox shops on Monday.
I think instant gasket comes just after the last item on the potential list of options!
or should that be ... list of potential options.

Sorted!
I made a new gasket from nitrile-bonded cork which I sourced from Gaskets Direct.
24 hours from phone call to delivery and good prices - e.g. Pinto head set for £7.50
