v8 to ford box

Anyone know where I would get a plate to attach a rover v8 to a ford box, even plas would do I can make it myself.

you'd need an adapter bellhousing and you'd need to use either an uprated quaiife t9 box or most likely a cosworth t5 box. there are other boxes such as the rover or rangerover boxes available.

some company's sell the bellhousings, will be a few hundred quid. can't remember the companies but sure someone will be along shortly witht the details you need.

You can hook one up to a T5 using the auto bellhousing from an SD1 and an adapter plate at the gearbox end I think, I believe this is quite a common method.
Either that or trying and find a good later-type LT77, not as good as the T5 but much stronger than a Type 9.

Luego have a V8 and T5 in their demonstrator Viento so they might be worth a call?

try ringing magnum motorsport they do bellhousings for rv8 to type 9 v6 gearbox if your not running over 200 bhp they should be ok! it costs £250 for bellhousing and about £75 for gearbox job done!
