im gona ask vulcan what the cr is and go from there, but you think this is ok to do?also its not a 205,it has 20 in big numbers, this should handle it? the reason im gona use this engine is that im rebuilding the other one, it was in a bit of a sorry state, the vulcan has a big valve head and a fr32,so it should be quite poatant if alls well thanks jamie ps thanks for that link

What is the compression of high compression engine? What sort of boost you looking at running?.. Its not uncommon for low pressure turbo systems on a high compression engine.. Not sure about the pinto but most Toyota Engines will handle 10:1 compression or more with upto about 10psi boost

Decompression plate is a bit of a bodge, completely removes squish so will limit the boost you can use before detonation becomes a problem. You may be able to get the pistons machine if there is plenty of material on the crown.

I'd check with Vulcan on the suitability of the head for forced induction, obviously you will have the change the cam anyway, but nice slim exhaust valves with narrow seats which are great for N/A may cause overheating problems with FI.
