painting engine what paint?
What paint have people used to paint their engine block etc ?
Luego Locost C20XE.
Build start: October 6th 2008.
IVA passed Jan 28th 2011.
First drive Feb 10th 2011.
First show: Stoneleigh 1st/2nd May 2011.
'Used up' first engine may 3rd 2011!
Back on the road with 2nd engine may 24th
First PASA mad drive 26/7/11
Sold to Mike in Methyr Tydvil 19/03/14

You could use hammerite.... but IMHO it wont last long...
Frost sell some Por Engine enamel.... that would proberably be good...provided you clean the block well first!

I used the POR15 stuff on mine
I'm happy with the result, but if I did it again I'd use some of the silver stuff as an undercoat first (1 or 2 coats maybe) - it took
allot of coats of red to get good coverage strait onto the bare metal (even though it says you can paint it strait on)
also it take ages to dry
havn't run it yet though.....

Ummmm engine paint 
Available from all good motorfactors for about £4/pot. Enough to do 2 or 3 engines

Exactly - got mine from Halfords for about £5 painted several coats onto py block and still have a half a tin sat in the garage.
