IVA/SVA differnces for Fuel?

Hi Guys,
This topic has come up on another thread but was wondering whether anyone else knew about it....

Supposedly in the IVA it states about Fuel tank not being able to get pierced from a rear end collision, therefore does it mean that you can't put your fuel tank on the back where most fuel tanks on locosts go.

Here is a picture of where mine has been fitted... Will this be ok?

Thanks in Advance

like it says in that other thread, it will be fine if there some structural meal round it, which it doesn't look like yours does. the top rear corner of the tank seems to stick out the back of the chassis a little.

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

eddie - read my reply to you. I have said exactly what VOSA have said in this.... The Panther doesn't have any metal work at the top of the back panel, so you might need to add this to get through. If you are still unsure, the best bet would be to take some photos of your setup, and go and speak to the test centre. They are generally a useful bunch!
