fuel leak

having trouble with fuel leaking from between my webber 40s and manifold have checked and double checked float level and replaced misab plates and mounting rubbers. it doesnt leak while stood ticking over outside garage but when you come back from a hoon around underside of carbs manifold is wet with fuel.any body got any ideas its got me stumped!.thanks in advance. m.

check it ant coming from the inlet pipe?

If you overtighten on the manifold they leak.

You just fasten until the special washers are closed but the carbs still feel loose on the rubbers

I used the rubber bobin type things with the 2 tin cups and tightend bolts untill there was 2mm gap between cups I dont think they are to tight. m.
