ive built up a 1300 x-flow to fit in the locost when built. im now wondering wether to go zetec instead. so im just wondering wether ill get my money back.

spec

1600 GT head
Kent BCF2 Cam with adjustable sprocket
new oil and water pump
alloy rocker cover
all gaskets and oil seals have been replaced. and all engine cleaned up and painted blue.

also have the inlet manifold and twin choke webber, but need a clean up.

i have spent just over 300 quid, not including gaskets and paints etc.

The short answer wouuld appear to be no.

I recently bought a 1300 X-flow, fully re-built, off ebay for £149.99, because it was cheaper than re-building my own bottom end.
