Is fuel hose oil proof?

As above, is fuel hose man enough to carry hot oil? I need to extend an oil cooler pipe from the bike engine, and wondered what to use.... (locost stylee of course!).

I don't know.

Think auto did me a pair of 1m hoses, with banjo bolts one end and bsp fittings at the other end for my oil cooler set up.

£42 all in for the pair.

I tried normal hose / hose clips once. They wouldn't hold the pressure.

The proper reinforced oil pipe isn't very expensive, about £6 meter from Rally Design, but you may be able to find it localy.

I just want to test a theory really. I want to see if moving my oil cooler makes a difference to the temperature of the oil. I was going to get proper hoses made up, but not if I don't need to move it!

youl be ok for not too long if its injection hose. I think the oil will eat away at it in the end if its used for too long.
