i need a smaller alternator

i need to find a smaller alternator has anyone got any ideas on what car i could get one from,i have a pinto bottom end.
is one out of a suzuci jeep smaller,dose anyone know

i think one from a daihatsu charade is small

the was one on ebay thats new and for a mgbt and that looked really small

We used a nippon denso alternator (daihatsu hijet van and charade car iirc). We had to make a custom bracket to fit it on, but it is tiny (90mm dia I think) - take a look at my blog for piccies of it, and a description of how we made it fit (205 block Pinto)

Mine is from a nissan micra,it's a
nippondenso,nice and compact with the
fan on the inside.I bought it because the
sierra unit was far too big.

I'm afraid that they don't come any smaller then the denso's

Bedford rascal or equivalent suzuki tiny van had V pulleys on as do some of the charades.

i just got one its from a daihatsu van,it looks the same as the one in the pic but has a v pulley,
