Pinto Camshaft Oil Seal

Anyone got any tips to fit a Pinto Camshaft Oil Seal, i have damage one trying to get it fitted as per the manual and need to get a new one.
Would warming it up in water help?

Anyone?

wrap some tape on the camshaft first,fit and remove tape

Make sure the seat is clean.

Wipe some thick grease around the seal then bang it in with a socket of the right size.

Make sure its square before you start hammering it.

Should go in easy.
