Oil leaking inside cambelt cover?

My sisters W reg astra 1.6 16v sxi has a large build up of oil inside the cambelt cover, what would be the most likely cause? the cam cover is not leaking neither is the end of the cams. the head gasket is fine. Oil pump maybe?

If its not the stuff you said, then it's got to be the oil pump or crank....

Whatever it is, you'll have to replace the cambelt as the oil will have got into it !!!

Best way to find out where its comming from is to clean it up and then run the engine and see where its comming from. It can be any of the above and the belt will whip it up and spread it everywhere.
