Bogg Bros inlet manifold
Anybody on here got one of their inlet manifolds on there car?
What is the quality like?
Are you using TB's or carbs?
Does everything match up (ie the shape of the inlet ports)?

Workmanship and finish is excellent, but my Zetec manifold doesn't match the ports in the head, the oval bits are ok but there is no raised bit
to match where the injectors were.
Seems to work fine though......

Hmmm good from what I hear.
However, Rover V8 manifold for 8 x Honda CBR600 throttle bodies is.....
OVER £550.... Thats a Tad expensive.
However, Altiss Engineering is also a similar price
1. The point of a journey is not to arrive.
2. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

I had a set on my bike carbs when my car was a zetec - it was BEAUTIFUL!
I couldn;t weld at the time, so took it for granted, but looking back it was top notch.

Have you tried Ian Richardson at Wildcat Engineering? I have his inlet manifold and throttle bodies which to my recollection did not cost a lot more
than that and its pulling 400 bhp +400ftlbf on the dyno.
Think you can get him on 01341 450 200 normal business hours. All his stuff is custom made and exported to V8 race engine builders but I guess he can
spare a few

are you meaning the fact that they didn't re-space the carbs ?
I asked them about that, and they recon it doesn't make enough of a difference on a road car.
but I fairly sure they'll make the manifold to your spec. if you ask them to....

It's a lot cheaper to get bodies that can be re-spaced and then attach them in the same was as they do on a lot of bikes, using the rubber inlet
flanges.
I've done this with carbs and it works great, with no need for a fabricated manifold at all.

Im going throttle bodies
And if i re space then i will need a new fuel rail and then a new pressure regulator and longer tabs between the bodies so overall the slightly higher
cost against the hasstle of everything else is worth it.
The main thing i wanted to see was if they shape the inlet port which they seem to do

THROTTLE BODIES
If you've got a ZETEC why not use a ST170 inlet manifold with GSXR 750 bodies.
You can use the Ford injectors and fuel rail block the openings for the bike injectors, much cheaper, better job, no messing about.
Duratec Engine is fitted, MS2 Extra V3 is assembled and tested, engine running, car now built. IVA passed 26/02/2016

I had one. Excellent quality and considering the time to make they cant be charging a lot per hour. Seem expensive but for bespoke fabrication are
actually very good value. Factor their customer service and good value rollin road set ups into the equation and they become even cheaper.
