very simple question about... bolts!
hi there guys, just got a K&N filter delivered for the Indy, small problem, no bolts. i need the four bolts to attatch it to the dgas carb i have
running, does anyone know the size of bolt i need?
also anyone have a link about cutting a hole in the bonnet! im thinking dremmel??
thanks everyone, trying to get as much done on my day of before the rain!

They are M5, pitch is 0.8 which is standard and most suppliers will assume that unless stated differently.

how big a hole? what material is the bonnet and what thickness?
small hole you can drill and then file out to size - for GRP and metal (steel/aluminium).
larger hole for say an air filter or two, I'd recommend this (aluminium or steel).

eek - nearly £ 60 - a lot I know but does a great job,. one of the few items from MM that I have bought, I guess it is because it is not one of
thier clarke own brand items.

Chain drilled, joined up with hacksaw blade then Dremmeled. I made the initial hole smaller than needed and placed the bonnet on so as to see how much
I needed to open it up, used masking tape to draw the final shape.
