Fan switch temp range (ford cvh)

Planning on fitting a polo rad to the westfeild (there cheap, and the rads cores falling apart) and thinking i might as well stick a fan switch in it and stop using the one on the engine which seams fairly useless.

What temp range do i want, cbs has 95-86șC 88-79șC

Anyone?
- Temp on the engine water gauge seams to read about 85-90ish under normal running. Upto 100 if i stop and put the fan on manually. Upto about 110 if i leave it to come on automatically using the swtich in the termostat housing.

Is this about right, would a 95-86 switch be right?
