I just used M8 hex socket head bolts from Namrick. Can't remember the length though.... Make sure you de-grease them well first and if possible
give the threads in the lobro on the diff a clean with some thinners on a cotton bud...
[edited to remove my brain fade M5 instead of M8 mistake]

hi thanks for the reply,
my only concern with that is i am running 300bhp through the back wheels so not sure the tensile of that bolt will be enough ??????
but may be my only option if i cannot locate some
thanks again

Well cap head bolts will be 12.9 which is pretty hard as nails. I very much doubt Ford make 'em any stronger. Infact is there a grade stronger
than 12.9? Never seen it if so....
Hang on a min, they're no M5, talking borrocks. They're M8*50 capheads. Sorry...

Hex(socket) should be the same 12.9 hardness as the original (star?) anyway. Bear in mind that its not only the tensile strength but also the clamping
action on the 2 faces that take the force

Its not the bolt that takes the load, if torqued correctly all the driving force is by the friction between the 2 faces created by the bolts
12.9 cap head will be more than enough
