Try Ric Wood or JW Developments - both make very successful race engines as well as good road ones.

Tickover/ Tickford? in Bexley capri specialsits - dropped in there a few years ago and it seemed there wa snothing they didn't have or didn't know about their motors

Can also pick up some parts on ebay, seen sportier cams, tripple carb inlet manis etc. turn up every so often

Blimey, is it worth it?

I thought they were heavier and lazier than Colgnes and need, well, everything changing to product more than 1bhp per cylinder? Wouldn't the sensible thing to do be to think about throwing a 24V cossie lump or something in there? (granted I have no idea where 'there' is and therefore how appropriate/easy this would be)
