Clutch release bearing MTX75 5 speed

Evening all,

First off, I'm a complete novice at this but I've started stripping down a zetec engine from a 92 XR3i.

So far I've taken the bellhousing off the engine and then removed all the bolts around the gearbox casing and bellhousing so I can split the two.

My problem is I can't work out how to get the clutch release bearing out and I can't therefore get the bellhousing off.

Inside the bellhousing is an arm which must push the bearing against the clutch - the arm is attached to a bracket behind the bearing by some kind of small pin.

I can't work out how to release it ?

Also - there is only one pin on the bracket (on the exhaust manifold side) - should there be two ?

Any help gratefully received....

thanks
Paul
