Braided hose for remote mounting oil pressure sender

Anyone know if the rubber that's uses for this sort of thing has to be a specific type for oil applications, or will something like this do: -

ebay linky

Helluva lot cheaper than the usual suspects, but not if the rubber's gonna perish in oil?

i think that paintball stuff is for air. not sure it'll agree with oil. best not take risks as far as oil is concerned imo

Hi

Just get a braided brake line with the correct fittings on the ends made up. It's what we do on the race engines where we have expensive oil pressure sender units. Saves them suffering from vibration problems.

Cheers Matt

I used braided brake hose from Rally design. I have a 350mm length you can have for£0, if it's long enough? Has a couple of fittings on the ends that are removable if not suitable.
^^^^ really must trype quicker
