How much do you think it will go for? And what are its numbers?

rv8's are fine, but easy bang for buck its gotta be a 350 or 383 sbc.

LS series are great but still not quite the everyman engine the sbc is

Tuning bits for the SBC are cheap (in the States), but in terms of bhp/litre it's a crap engine, but the RV8 is shockingly crap in comparison. Dinosaur engine.

I couldn't agree more, specific power isn't great.

in the states the bits to make a powerful sbc are laughably cheap.

In 1964 there was an Oldsmobile version of that engine that was Turbo charged and water injected and put out 215HP for it"s 215 Cu in. In an Oldsmobile F85
