zetec ignition using cvh wirring

hi, can i use my cvh 1800 carb ignition wirring for my winter upgrade to a zetec, have looked at the 1400,1600cvh wirring sugestions from this and other sites, both wirring diagrams look very simular except some wires from ecu module to distributor/coil pack, any thoughts, suggestions, thanks.

My 1.8 cvh has a coil and dizy how would you replicate that on the zetec ?

If on a very tight budget you could use the esc modual from a 1.1~1.3 endura Fiesta / Escort.

I ran a cvh on one for months ive also run zetecs and alsorts with a 36-1 trigger wheel. Its not perfect for a zetec but its better than nothing.

I agree that you won't be able to use cvh carb ignition on a Zetec.

Even if you could I wouldn't bother. A Megajolt would be the best route if using carbs on your Zetec.

yep does the advance.

Mk1 (EEC IV) ecu is now rare and sort after as its a pre pats ecu.

Ive wired a few of them up. If going that route you may aswell run the injection aswell. Ecu is 60 pins so lots of wiring.

I am now working on the EEC V Pats1 ecu's They are 104 pin so even more wiring but doable.

Have a butchers at some of my vids

Give me a shout if you need any help on running a zetec on budget.

MJ is pretty easy to wire. I haven't messed about with maps much - I just used someone else's.
