Tbh I’m surprised your asking as surely your using some sort of manual to get the torque settings and usually they also say if the bolts are one time use only.

You also don’t say what use the engines going to get, road, race, scream the nuts off it rally??

All I’m asking is if he’s using a manual as like I said they usually say the bolts are one use, plus he’s asking if he should change to a stud kit instead but why would he think that the original bolts would not be enough that he has to use studs? I thought he might be really tuning the engine?

Not the head bolts as i would have typed head bolts...lol.
Main bolts (crank cradle), i am guessing they are purely by the way they came out.

I am asking about the ARP version as it will be superchargered with over 300bhp so if i need to buy new ones which by the looks i do thne i may aswell go ARP as i am using ARP head stud kit.

As for a manual Mr whippy, only need one to put it back together, not to take apart

lol to scootz, it was helpful

If you are spending lots on the engine then ARP bolts are a safe bet, however if you are taking it to Scholar then call them and ask.........

got to wait till monday now, have emailed asking if they can supply them. If they do then makes life easier, if not i shall get some on order.

Does anyone know if 2.3 and 2.0's use the same main bolts and head bolts?? or is the a diff. I imagine there would be on the head ones, not sure about main.....
cheers
