Exhaust Cans
This might be a daft question, but can you fit Bike Exhaust cans to CEC's??

As blackcab says, theyre not the most freeflowing of systems so initially you really need to be using one from the larger bikes.
Gas volumes will be similar with half the cylinder size but twice the revs so the cans should be okay on a CEC with similar bhp to the bike.
From what I've read loads of people use them all the way up to 150bhp+

Again, quite good, I'm only quoted what I've read when researching - so this isnt anecdotal - but the slight restrictiveness pays off with
sensible sound levels.
Some people said they had changed to original bike cans to get onto track days when I asked about it.

I swapped the Westfield can I had for an R1 can and it is much quieter. Its also a lot lighter than the Westy one.
Hard to say if it makes any difference to power, but I can't tell a difference by driving it.

I fancy an Akrapovic can having ridden and heard them on a '59 R1 yesterday but have to fit a CAT somewhere as I'm installing a 97 Zetec
with R6 TB's.

We have used a standard ZX9 can. It might be standard but it is Titanium! Goes nicely on our Titanium system. It is fairly restrictive, of course, so
should be fairly quiet.
As previous poster have said it could take the edge off a high HP CEC.
We had a race type can on our previous car and it was very noisy indeed!
So I suggest you get hold of the biggest standard can you can find! And remember that you will probably need some sort of angled tailpipe arrangement
on the end of it, so get one that lends itself to that sort of thing.
Geoff.
