Engine in tomorrow!

Just need to bolt on the clutch and flywheel tomorrow morning and the Zetec is ready to go in.
Crane coming AM - check
Mounts rewelded - check
All parts/tools needed ready - check
Just one problem and it's rather an embarassing one to admit to on here.
I've never in my life put an engine in a car before.
Any useful tips, do's/dont's you could pass on to a blushing maiden (albeit a maiden with a beard) in these things. Is there one of those 'everybody gets that wrong the first time' type things .

We hadn't done it before either! Take it very very slowly, try and get a second pair of hands, or at least eyes. Have beer ready to hand.... enjoy

Don't forget the lock and seal on the flywheel bolts.

Make sure you fitted the spigot bearing!

Fitting an engine is straightforward, but sometimes a bit fiddly. Just take you time and keep checking that nothing is snagging as you lower it in.

Dusty, what do you mean 'lock and seal'. I am going to use thread lock, is there something else I should be doing?
