zetec mounted height

How high is your zetec fitted measured from the top chassis rail? mine is 230mm

still having height issue even with the higher panther bodywork

the engine can't be lowered anymore using the current exhaust manifold either as it would hit the lower chassis rail, think i will end up with a bonnet scoop after all

Mine is under the panther bodywork. My exhaust goes over the top rail

could you measure the height from top chassis rail to the top of the timing belt cover for me?

also the nose cone seems 1/2" to wide either side but it may be because i can bring it back further yet.
will be trail fitting scuttle and bonnet at the weekend.

yeh give me an hour.

I had the same problem with the nose. I found out after I pu'd my side panels on, that they are meant to be spaced away from the chassis rails.

I trimed mine so the nose sits back a bit.

thats how i got it to fit with no triming and the bottom of the nosecone lines up nicely to the front lower chassis rail i wanted to hinge it at the front and it looks like that will be easy, it definatley seems like it needs to go a bit further back but i am not sure its actually poss.
but i will see where a bit of triming can get me.
cheers
duncan

have you mounted your bonnet yet wasa? interested to see how you have it fixed not sure about going the zaus fastner route or the rubber catches route.

i can measure how far forward mine is mounted but they look similar.
yours is a GTS chassis? are they built to the exact same dimensions as the locost?
