2.3 diesel estate

found a very tatty 2.3 estate (sierra),i checked the diff code on vin plate it said u. are they always correct ,should i check on actual diffas i thought this would be a more desireable one to resell,thanks phil

I purchased the diff from a 2.3 ltr diesel Sierra thinking Ah! ha! 3.4 diff, was it f**k, it was a 3.62, (mind you an almost new one), so be careful, check the diff plate, (if you can read it). Cheers Ray
