advice needed on 2009 r1 engine
hi guys
i 've found a good bargain on 2009 R1, 2000kms on clock.
probleme is that seller doesn't have CDI and keys.will it be a hard probleme to overcome?

First you cannot buy a 2009 R1 for 1200 euros not legally anyway
second if you can then i have a loom ecu assy that will work
third good luck
fourth ill get you £3k for the motor if its legal

People seem to get very excited by the engine technology in this motor. The smooth power delivery from the cross-plane crank may have some advantages
in a bike, but in a BEC (which has much more mechanical grip) I can't see how it has any great advantage at all. Its less powerful than the
latest CBR1000rr, GSXR1000 and ZX10r engines.
If you really can get it for that money, buy it and sell it on for a profit and then buy something else :-)
