CBS wiring module

Problem starting 1300 Xflow

Turned key - cranks - no spark - release key - sparks! as engine comes to rest.

checked with meter at coil+ whilst cranking - volts are zero.

changed supply to coil to another "number" on the module and all ok now?

obviously volts are la bit lower whilst cranking but they were not zero!

anyone used a CBS module before?

measure twice, cut once, scrap it, start again.

should have really gone under "electrics" in forum.

but it does relate to making the engine go faster!

module.

Just finished wiring JBA Falcon using this module.Never even changed a plug in the house before, found the unit simple if following instructions. I had a slight problem like you with regards ignition. Connected feed to "Other " on the board and everything works as it should.Well nothing caught fire.Only thing I changed --- I put the lights on a 4 way fuse linked to the lighting supply on the module. At least if a problem arises on one circuit I wont loose all lights.
