Pinto Engine and Sierra Gear box

Hi I Have a pinto engine attached to a sierra gear box but the engine sits to high and need to lower it but the sump and gear box look like they sit to low any idea what gear box is needed and were i can get the sump moded

Your engine/box combo is correct.

Shortening the sump is fairly easy, but not worth going any lower than the bottom of the bellhousing. Will also need to shorten the pick up pipe to suit

I used this link to shorten my sump, worked a treat.

Cheers i need to lower engine by 1.5 inches so body work will fit back on and that looks like my sump and bell housing will be very low to the ground

What do you mean very low, mines about 4" from sump to tarmac.

It more like 2inch once engine is lowed. for some reason the engine looks to tall it had a cvh in before

I ran about 3" to the sump and 4.5" to the chassis rails when my pinto was in the car.
