The engine itself is probably worth about £50.

Split it up and ebay all the bits.

fits the bill, very light around 85kg, 1700cc can see over 240bhp, run with some cams and on a standard inlet you will see around 155bhp, but have the issues of vct,

i use the 1600 engine in mine just rebuilding it at the moment and will see 200bhp from that, there all based on the same block

engine, is it the ginettea one that retails at well over £1000?????
water rail worth £100
inlet manifolds £75
sump £100+
ECU £100 easy ( i think the reatail is near £400?)
exhaust, a proper one so real money £200??
I suspect you may get the best offer within ginetta circles, I suspect this lot cost you well over £2K, possibly nearer 3.
If you want to sell it on here then yes, split the items up, the engine will be the hardest to sell as new blacktops can be had for the £500 mark, but as you say it isn't a £50 scrapper engine. Should get £100-150 but not a lot more
Maybe a package price of £750 as a guestimate. Think that may be a disappointment from all angles

your correct from all angles i am going to run in over 1700 class of the harewood championship this year. so i am thinking of either selling the lot and putting a vauxhall or duratec engine in the car or keeping the bits and building a new 2.0 zetec motor up
