megajolt/non vac dizzy continued

i used to be indecisive....now i'm not so sure !!! my megajolt / non vac dizzy personal debate continues, i know many will tell me to go megajolt but i think i'm gonna stick with the electronic dizzy set up as i dont really need the shift lights and be able to map my own ignition curve etc etc ive spoken to the guy who's gonna rolling road my car soon about having a vac advance with twin carbs and he says i will just need to stop the vac advance moving in my dizzy...has anyone got any experience of doing this. Also will a non vac dizzy from an efi pinto engine work on my 2.0 litre carb'd one

You could just block the vac advance up yes - its just like having a 2D electronic ignition system then.

Your fuel economy may well suffer considerably mind!!!
