Caterham vs Std ford type-9 gearbox mount?

Ive noticed that the standard ford item for mounting the gearbox has quite abit of flex in it. Does anyone on here have any experience with the caterham one, like this click
is any better,
Cheers guys Jas

I just bought one but haven't fitted it yet as it is smaller than the ford part.

I need to change the mounting brackets in the tunnel to accept it. Also, it sits at a different level - the Ford one has the plate at the top and then hangs down where as this one has the plate at the bottom and then sits up!

Personally, I think it will be better when done, but it's not the straight swap I thought it would be.

What they dont show you is the caterham has a thin piece of flat plate welded into the tunnel that this bolts on to.
I cut damdy cashes mount out and made it removable.
We used 5mm flat bar.....a lot stiffer than the 2mm folded stuff that came out.

By making it removable it made engine fitting very easy as it could be done in a one piece engine gearbox manoeuvre.
