Wiring...

Well, stripped it back to the wires I 'think' I need... but, bloomin eck - where to now?

Don't suppose anyone can point me in the direction of a 2008 MX5 wiring loom diagram?

Nope... picked up a MBE967 at a reasonable price, so may as well try and make use of it!

*Stanbdby for MBE ECU sale at an even more reasonable price once I've given up and gone down the Carb route!

Will your ecu do cop ?

(Coil on plug)

If you get to the stage of getting rid give me a shout. I will give you a hand.

Ive done a couple omex's and a Dta aswell as the ford stuff.

Wiring is the easy peasy bit just wish I could learn how to map the buggers.

Luck... saw the ECU for sale at £275, so grabbed it thinking it would come in useful for something!

Doesn't the 2008 MX5 have a fly-by-wire throttle?

How do you intend to get round that?

I do know there is ecu's out there that can cope with fbw, but when i spoke to an ecu manufacturer recently, they told me that most ecu's with fbw, have a disclaimer "not for road use" attached

You can always fit some throttle bodies
