Pinto top end gasket set, what are these rings for??
Anyone out there know what the 2 little rings are for in this gasket set? Pictured inside the thermostat housing gaskets here:

They look like valve stem oil seals to me.

Not to do with spray bar, this fits with no seals/gaskets, Not valve stem oil seals, and not to go between any gasket faces.
Tho only one that I can think of is replacement oil seal washers for the two front angled face rocker cover bolts (you know the ones that go into the
cam bearing post).
Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.

Yeah ^^^^ 10 points, worked it out a few minutes ago, they are the rubber backed steel washers for the front rocker bolts

If its the EFI head then you should have the wide gasket and rocker cover. These rocker covers should have their own set of bolts and special load
spreading washers and again the ones for the two front holes will have an oil seal in them. But these later types of bolts and load spreading washers
are not serviced with any head gasket set that I have seen.
