Changing to Megajolt. (questions) - Pinto

2.0 Pinto..

I am getting Megajolt and EDIS bits together for the change over to MJ, so will probably have a few questions along the way......

I went to fit the 36-1 wheel yesterday to the Crank Pulley, but the hole in the middle of the wheel is slightly too small. Looks like it needs to be opened out to 11.5mm for the Pulley Bolt ?

I was planing on simply attaching the wheel using the bolt and then torque it up. Realistically do we think this would be enough to secure the wheel and prevent any slippage. If possible I would rather not remove the pulley etc and dont have a welder.

Also, any advice on the bracket for the VR Sensor..

I should think bolting it will be OK. You could use a small set screw or roll pin to lock it in place once you have got it in the right position.

Have a look at this - should help: Link

Mines currently attached just like this, clamped up to the pressed aux pulley with the one central bolt.
- Been like that for 18months now no issues, although ive been meaning to do something so the position isnt effected if the pulley had to be removed in the end its stuck and proberbly will do for some time yet as im busy and it works.
