230hp - What do you think?

Ok,

Im putting the 24V Cosworth V6 (BOB) into my kit presently, and have been thinking bout the sort of power that im going to get from the "Standard" installation once its in and i have no idea what the throttle bodies or megasquirt will give me. Im guessing (Provided the engine is still good);

BOB Engine - 205hp (Fact)
Throttle Bodies (One per cylinder - from an R6) - 30hp (?)
Megasquirt - 15hp (?)

Totalling 250hp?

Any other guesses?

I was originally loking at supercharging, but thats a load more work that will take the project another 3-6m i reckon, so ive shelved that for now. It may be easier to turbo at a later date if i feel like it....

For those that dont know, Engine is mid mounted with e renault UN1 transaxle.

The throttle bodies would need to be used in conjunction with either a programmable ECU, or a remapped standard ECU (if possible) anyway, so you couldn't really suggest that the MS is going to add more more power over just the throttle bodies.

How much power the throttle bodies would add is really dependant on how restrictive the current induction system is.

I reckon the 205bhp and whack loads of torques should just about be enough there....

Carb's and 'Jolt on my 1.8 zetec released 25bhp for reference.

What about putting bike carbs on it?

According to Chippy on here, his BOA runs 238bhp.
I don't know the spec though...
