I'll be watching this with interest as all the ones I've seen are silly money for what they are.

Cheers

If what I'm thinking of and what you need are the same thing, then Martin Keenan had some for sale at Stoneleigh and is continue-ing (sp!) to make them I believe...

Not sure on price, but may not be the cheapest as the quality was very very good. (I think he sold all that he'd brought with him on the first day!).

http://www.mkengineering.co.uk

Drop him a mail or call, he will prob be at Newark if that helps?

I've had a similar experience recently with my manifolds. We couldn't find any decent off the shelf merge collectors worth the money (or in stock at the time) so the chap making my system also made the collectors in the end.

So they can see the obstacles they need to avoid when they make it. Do you think every kit car is the same?

Incidentally, there is a guy in ebay that sells 4:1 collectors - all one piece too so look very tidy.

Is there a point in having the output diameter larger than the restriction where the primaries merge?

Sorry just caught up with this thread, I think the idea behind having a larger outlet than throat size is to create a venturi effect to pull the next cylinders exhaust gases out of the chamber, not sure that 3" is really needed though.
