Lotus Elan Isuzu engine build info or manual WTD

A friend of mine has an Elan with the Isuzu engine. He is doing a head gasket and timing belt change, but he has no service manual.
I have done a fairly exhaustive search on the internet for this info, but I can't find anything.
Aparantly there is no Haynes manual for them, but there must be dealer service manuals about.

What I have found is that the engine was originally used (in a slightly less powerful guise) in the Isuzu Gemini / Impulse. But I still can't find detailed manuals for those.

Can anyone help?

Slightly later version with the engine version developed for Lotus was marketed as Isuzu Piazza Turbo

That's almost exactly what we are looking for, thanks. But, and here is the big but, it says 'now refer to the procedure in the manual' a couple of times. So still not 100% there, but much closer than I was this morning. Thanks

I am working on it for you, you need a password to access the Manuals on that forum. I have emailed Admin asking for access, should have it by the end of the day.

Thanks. Just printed off that first document for my mate so he will probably make a start stripping bits off soon.
