Custom exhaust scotland?
Hi, I'm currently looking at exhaust manifolds for a Yam R1 4xv engine.
My options are MK sportscars, MK engineering (car required), ive enquired with MNR but dont do them for the 4xv anymore.
The other option is a full custom jobbie. Has anyone idea of rough cost and anywhere near Glasgow area that does this kind of work? Ive found a
company called RMS in prestwick but would like to hear any first hand accounts of work.

Have you used them yourself?
I know theres a few dodgy maxpower custom exhaust places but i'm after someone who knows their stuff.
Also, is 907 a user on here i take it?

I wish i could weld a quarter as well as that!!!

Hi Steve,
Afraid I haven't used them myself, I was just pointed in their direction by a couple of other firms I spoke to. There is another company called
Stainless Creations near Falkirk who do custom exhausts, but unfortunately I don't know much about them either.

He did mine off of measurements I took, turned out absolutely spot on.

Hi M8,
i stay in irvine and have seen many exhausts from RMS and i would not recommend them....ok for a saxo i suppose but not something thats going to be
seen if u know what i mean..... there is another guy in Ayr that does them but i cannot remember who he is... will need to make a phone call if u want
when i get home on the 30th june. Just let me know

RMS are out, too many posts on other forums about shoddy work.
I've been in touch with meercat and the guy seemed really helpful and keen to do the job and gave me an acceptable rough costing.
Any other contacts, past experiences all welcome. No rush as wont be getting done for 4 weeks or so yet i'm just canvassing at the minute.
