Its alive
After months of faffing with the wiring, i finally got it nobbled. A few minor things (such Starter relay wired with battery/starter the wrong way)
and the colour codes/wiring in the manual differing significantly to reality.
Its absolutely made my week.

with. Saying that, I'm still not happy with the bodywork on mine

The bodywork is a nightmare, so far i've managed to get a good shut everywhere except between the bulkhead and bonnet. Took fecking ages
though...
If i can find an actuator for the gear shift, i'll see if i can get it out the garage under its own steam.
