Type 9 quickshift woes
Following on from THIS LINK, I had a chat with Rally Design the other day and
they very kindly offered to send me a new grub screw and some instructions.
Now I followed all the instructions, but I can't see or understand where the nylon split bush goes? I understand the metal one goes below the
ball selector to space it down, but I thought I'd refit it anyway minus said clip and it seems I can't find reverse?!?
Now I've not linked up the clutch as yet, but I can still select gears one to five on my type 9. Has anyone got pictures of how it should sit?
I've had a search on the forum, looked at David Jenkins site, but still no luck. The gear lever extension seems fine, just since I put the
Rally Design quickshift on. Just to check, I took the gear lever off again and checked, and I can still depress it, just not when bolted onto the
car.
Please help, it's driving me bananas, and I've spent all moring and this afternoon on it now!!!!
