Escort Wheel Studs

Can the imperial wheel studs on the Mk1 axle be replaced with MK2 metric ?

Cheers Mike.

Yes -- Apart from MK2 Escort & Mk3-5 Cortina you can fit longer studs for spacers or Sierra.

Sierra fronts are a popular choice as they are slightly longer than Escort/Cortina ones.

This reminds me I had a question about studs. I am using Cortina Mk3-5 hubs and I understand that I need to use longer studs for Sierra sized alloys. Is there a standard size replacement stud for this or does it depend on what size wheels you fit?

Thanks.
