cooling hose

need a 16mm hose from the header tank to the bottom hose, but looking for silicone hose, there's vacuum hose (which i know is not really for cooling pipe) and takes temperature to 180 degrees C, and is quite bendy, its about £3.50 for a half metre

or a 45 degree bend hose, about 210mm long for £13

could i just use vacuum hose? its only needs to be about 150mm long

Size is actually 5/8" sold as 16mm or 15mm best stay with the black rubber stuff branded with one of the big names such a Goodyear rated to 120c. The good quality stuff always has the manufacturers name an SAE or DIN standard printed on it.

LPG suppliers are used selling it short lengths, for about 2.75/m Also for tight radius bends they sell springs to stop it kinking.
