907 Exhaust can rattling

I've found that the perforated tube in my exhaust can has started to rattle. I think that as the exhaust heats up the tube starts to 'unravel' and becomes loose. I took it apart a couple of weeks ago and squeezed the ends to tighten it up a bit, but after one event it is now rattling again. Any ideas?

Also... whats the best stuff the repack it with?

Cheers, Adam

had this on my can. wasn't a 907 one though.

usually one end of the perforated tube is tack welded to the end of one of the caps stopping it from rattling. on mine over time the tacks gave way and allowed it to rattle.

should be a 2 min job to sort it out with a mig.

Big thanks to Paul. Very pleased with it other than that I should add It's made a beautiful ornament for about 5 years and has only just actually made it onto a car
