fuel system auxilley tank
Just curious on your thoughts,
Im not 100%sure if my fuel tank has swirl plates in it or not, is there some kind of tank(i.e catch tank) i can put in after the fuel pump that fills
with fuel and feeds the carb?
Many thanks

Yes, its called a swirl pot. The ones in the tank are called Baffles, though some have a swirl pot inside, near the outlet.
A low pressure pump feeds the swirl pot, and then a high pressure pump feeds the engine from the swirl pot.
Kindest Regards,
Richard.

You don't need a swirl pot for carburettors. They have bowls in them for this very reason.
