Aries Hose & Cable Lengths

Need to buy some hoses, but would appreciate if some could advise me how long the top and bottom hoses are for an Aries Locoblade and would I need just straight hoses?

Also how long is the throttle cable for the same car.

Cheers

Hi!

Since I bought everything needed to build from Aries, I have the throttle cable and hoses cut to size. I can measure them up tonight. Just need to know what hoses you are referring to. Tell me from where to where they run and if they are petrol or water hoses since Steve labeled each end with where they connect to.

This, of course, unless someone replies first

Take care,

Hello, IanL!

As promised, here go the measurements.

The throttle cable is 175cm long from end to end of the cable. Note that the sleeve the cable runs in is shorter that that.

The water pipes are more than just two... So I measured them all and took pictures of some.

1) Thermostat to radiator top via temperature sensor (remote) - 61cm of 3cm diameter pipe
2) Y piece from water pump to radiator lower - 101cm of 3cm diameter pipe
3) Header tank to water pump Y piece - 80cm of 1cm diameter pipe

4) The white plastic y piece has three pipes of 1cm diameter. The 14cm one goes to thermostat "headsink(?)". The 66cm one goes to the header tank. The 78cm one goes to the radiator top.

I hope this makes sense to you, it still doesn't make to me

Happy building!
