Removing EGR from Inlet side - Duratec

Hi,

Probably another silly question!

I have stripped the Duratec down and coming out of the inlet side there is a short metal pipe to do with the EGR which used to go into the original Ford induction system. I thought that it would just unscrew as their is a nut on it but if you undo the nut it just comes off over the pipe but the pipe is still fixed solid.

How do you remove the pipe part?

Thanks in advance,

Mark.

I clearly have an issue with pulling things, the injectors needed pulling out and now this! I always assume things are fixed in!

Any tips on pulling i.e. tools to use etc?

Tap it sideways with a hammer, its on a compression fitting.
Should come out easy.
