Bleeding clutch
or clutch bleeding.
My brake fluid res connects to my brake and clutch M/C. Today i've fitted the brakes/handbrake and used an easybleed kit to bleed the lines.
This worked a treat on the brake's and even showed up a few weepy connections as it gives about 20psi throughout the system.
However I can't seem to bleed the clutch at all, to the point that there's no fluid coming through to the clutch bleed point at all. Any
ideas on what it could be?

Are you sure the master cylinder is working ok and the push rod is fully out?? I'd try disconnecting the push rod fully first to make sure it is
- if not then the fluid isn't going anywhere. The piston could also be stuck so try pressing the clutch in first before disconnecting

Fluid reservoir connected to brakes and clutch, is that wise?
Clutches get used more than brakes, if the seals give way you could loose brakes, nasty.

What seals? The clutch feed is about 2" above the brake feeds. If the clutch goes there's still plenty of fluid to operate the brakes
still.
I've found my problem and its a classic......... The feed for the clutch is sold and needs the end drilling out to let the fluid pass through
What a plonker!!

most cars are like this nowadays. BMW have done it on their 3 series for at least 20 years

Not the first time I have come across that problem , had problems bleeding an Audi clutch after replacing it, tried to pressure bleed it, vacuum
bleed it , both together and pumping the clutch , fitted a new master cylinder all to no avail. Disconnected the feed pipe from the reservoir only to
find it had never had the bit at the end that seals it removed. How was it bled in the first place??
